Inspiring Author Meet with Mrs. Nandini Menon Enriches National Reading Month Celebrations

Readers' Club of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode organized an engaging Author Meet with Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award-winning author Nandini Menon as part of the National Reading Month celebrations.

The interactive session provided students with a unique opportunity to meet the acclaimed author and learn from her literary journey. She spoke about her lifelong love for reading, the influence of books on her life, and the many experiences she gained through her travels and interactions with people from different walks of life.

Sharing the stories behind her books, Ms. Menon explained how everyday experiences, observations, and human emotions often become the seeds of meaningful writing. She encouraged students to cultivate the habit of reading regularly, observe the world around them, and express their own thoughts through writing.

The session concluded with an enthusiastic question-and-answer segment, where Readers' Club members interacted freely with the author. She patiently answered questions on reading, writing, creativity, and the qualities of a good storyteller, inspiring students to become lifelong readers and confident young writers.
