Library Services During Summer Vacation – Keep Reading This Holiday!

To encourage reading habits and make the best use of the summer break, the school library will remain open for a few hours on selected days during the vacation. Students can visit the library and borrow books to continue their reading journey during the holidays.

The dates and timings for library opening will be shared through the respective class WhatsApp groups. Students who wish to avail themselves of this facility are requested to report to the library at the scheduled time.

Summer Vacation Library Guidelines

📘 Book Issue Facility

• A maximum of 4 books can be borrowed per student during the vacation.
• Students from Classes III to V are also eligible to borrow books.

🪪 Required Documents for Borrowing Books

Students must bring any of the following while visiting the library:

• Library Card
• Library Notebook
• School ID Card

📓 Library Notebook Requirement

To activate the library account and receive a library card, students must submit a Library Notebook.

Notebook Specifications:

• Size: King Size (24 cm × 18 cm)
• Pages: 200 ruled pages
• Cover: Covered neatly with brown sheet
• Labels: No labels should be pasted on the cover (library will provide the label)

Important:

• Write the following details on the index page:
  • Name
  • Class
  • Section
  • Admission Number

🔖 Library Account Activation

A student’s library account will become active only after submitting the notebook and receiving the library card.
