Unveiling of Commemorative Plaque of dedication of PM SHRI KV Kanjikode to the Nation

A special event was held at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode today as Shri M.S. Neelakandan, General Manager (Operations), Instrumentation Limited, Palakkad, unveiled a commemorative plaque installed near the entrance of the Vidyalaya. The plaque honors the dedication of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode to the nation by Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, held earlier in the day at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, during the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2025.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests and members of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC), including:

The Principal, Mr. Harilal S, warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the proud achievements of the Vidyalaya. He also elaborated on the initiatives undertaken under the PM SHRI scheme, which aim to transform Kendriya Vidyalayas into model schools with cutting-edge infrastructure and holistic development programs.

Mrs. Rugmini Menon, senior TGT (English), proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, alumni, and well-wishers who have consistently supported the growth of the institution.

The guests were then taken on a tour of the PM SHRI initiatives and the achievements of the Vidyalaya. They visited the laboratories, library, and other important facilities, and appreciated the developments made under the PM SHRI scheme.

The dedication ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam was broadcast live, and students watched the event with great enthusiasm from various venues within the campus.

The function witnessed active participation from parents, staff, alumni, and invited guests, making it a truly memorable day in the history of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode.
