Mathrubhasha Diwas (International Mother Language Day) Celebrated

Vidyalaya celebrated Mathrubhasha Diwas (International Mother Language Day) today with various special programmes in the morning assembly.

The morning assembly was conducted by the students of Class IX A in Malayalam. The compering was done by Sera Saju and Anagha P. Abhinand K P, Abhinand A and Prithvi introduced the new word. Thought for the day was given by P Sreelakshmi. Today's headline was presented in Malayalam by Noushabha, Shivani and Sniktha.

It was followed by a folk song by Akalya M, Rayyan Fathima and Sruthi S. Mrs. Teena, PRT presented the poem Mampazham by Vyloppilli Sreedhara Menon. Mrs. Durgalakshmi introduced Sanskrit language in the assembly as part of ongoing Bhasha Sangam programme.

Mr. K Viswanthan, Principal I/c addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the day.
