BookGazers Presents Exciting Reading Competitions for National Reading Month 2026!

 The BookGazers Team, as part of the Scholastic Internship Programme, is thrilled to announce an exciting series of competitions for the students of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode in celebration of National Reading Month 2026.

🌈 Balvatika – Grade II

📖 Picture Story Telling

📅 Date: 3 July 2026

Each participant will be given a sequence of pictures (or a picture story strip).

Students should carefully observe the pictures and identify the story and narrate it.

🏆 The three most creative storytellers will receive prizes.

🎨 Colouring Characters

📅 Date: 4 July 2026

Students will colour an outline of the popular Dog Man character. Bring your own coloring materials

Create an attractive bookmark on a book-based theme. Bring your own coloring materials and art paper.

Participants will solve clues to identify famous children's books.

🗺 Treasure Hunt

📅 Date: 4 July 2026

Teams will follow a chain of riddles hidden inside library books. Each clue leads to another book, creating an exciting literary adventure.

Students will identify famous literary characters using clues.
