Outstanding Reader of the Year Awards 2025-26 – Shortlisted Students

Library is pleased to announce the list of students shortlisted for the prestigious Outstanding Reader of the Year Awards 2025-26.

The Outstanding Reader of the Year Award is presented to students who demonstrate exceptional engagement with the library by securing points above the cutoff prescribed by the Library Committee. This recognition reflects not only the quantity of reading but also the overall quality of a student’s literary involvement.

Selection Criteria

The selection process is comprehensive and considers multiple aspects of a student’s reading journey, including:

• Regular submission of library notebooks
• Active participation in library activities
• Quality and variety of books read
• Submission of thoughtful book reviews
• Involvement in Reader Club activities
• Positive library behaviour and discipline

These awards are generously sponsored by our esteemed alumnus, encouraging a strong reading culture among students.

Important Instructions for Shortlisted Students

All shortlisted students are requested to Submit their library cards and notebooks for verification.

Ensure submission on or before 25 March 2026

Final Evaluation

A face-to-face interaction will be conducted with the shortlisted students as part of the final selection process to determine the winners. The winners will be announced and felicitated on the Annual Day scheduled on 06 April 2026.
