NCERT’s Online Courses for Classes XI & XII on the SWAYAM Platform
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has taken a significant step towards enhancing access to quality education by launching the SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) platform. This innovative initiative aims to provide students across the country with free and flexible access to high-quality online courses.
In collaboration with SWAYAM, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is offering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) specifically tailored for students of Classes XI and XII. These courses cover 11 vital subject areas, including Accountancy, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, English, and Sociology.
A total of 28 thoughtfully designed courses are available to support and enrich students' learning experiences in a flexible, virtual environment. This initiative empowers learners to study at their own pace, while supplementing their regular classroom education with engaging digital content.
Important dates for students interested in enrolling are as follows:
