Celebrating Our Library Volunteers – The Backbone of Our Library

PM SHIR Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode Library is fortunate to have a dedicated team of student volunteers whose enthusiasm and commitment make a remarkable difference every single day.

From the moment they step into school each morning, the team spring into action. They take care of getting the daily newspapers from the security desk, arrange them at designated stands, and deliver promptly to various departments. They continue with equal energy and help the librarian to manage the busy lunch-hour rush,  assisting and guiding the students to get the books they are looking for.

The team of volunteers help the librarian in  arranging books on shelves, stamping new arrivals, organizing resources, and maintaining order in the library.  They handle every responsibility with sincerity and care. In a library managed by a single librarian, their support becomes not just helpful—but essential.

Their dedication has played a crucial role in the smooth and efficient functioning of our school library.  Without them it is almost impossible to meet the ever-growing demands of our energetic and enthusiastic readers!

Today, during the morning assembly, library proudly recognized and celebrated these “Friends of the Library.” Prizes and certificates were awarded as a token of our appreciation for their invaluable service.
