Bridging Borders Through Bookmarks: International Bookmark Exchange Project 2024

 The Library of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode, joined the prestigious International Bookmark Exchange Project launched by the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) as part of the International School Library Month (ISLM) celebrated every October.

Fifty students from Classes 5 to 8 enthusiastically participated in this initiative, exchanging creative bookmarks with their counterparts from Šiaulių Gegužių Progimnazija, Lithuania and Gargždai „Krantas“ pre-gymnasium, Lithuania. Adding a personal touch to the exchange, the students connected virtually with their peers in Lithuania.

In the Primary Section, the project was skillfully coordinated by Mrs. Soumya P S, PRT, who guided the young participants in creating bookmarks that showcased their creativity and imagination.
