SciNQuest 2024-2025: A National Science Competition to Ignite Young Minds!
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is organising SciNQuest 2024-2025, a premier science competition designed to fuel a passion for science and innovation in school students across India. SciNQuest offers young scientists the opportunity to challenge themselves in three thrilling contests that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. Held at Amrita’s Amritapuri Campus on January 10th and 11th, 2025, SciNQuest is a gateway for students to showcase their talents and shape their future academic journeys. Let’s take a quick look at the three competitions that make up this remarkable event!
1. MathQuest – Unleash Your Mathematical Prowess!
MathQuest is a Math Olympiad that invites students from grades VIII to XII (and exceptional performers from grades V to VII) to dive deep into the world of mathematics. The two-phase competition begins with an online preliminary round, and finalists advance to the on-campus showdown. Teams of two students tackle multiple-choice questions that test their mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. With generous cash prizes for top performers, MathQuest provides a platform for students to strengthen their math skills while competing with peers from across the country.
2. BrainQuest – A Science Quiz to Remember!
BrainQuest is SciNQuest’s science quiz, crafted to engage students’ knowledge of core scientific concepts in an interactive and competitive setting. Students in grades VIII to XII, along with exceptional younger students (grades V to VII), form two-member teams to face multiple-choice science questions in a stimulating online preliminary round. Successful teams proceed to the final round on-campus, where they compete for attractive prizes and the title of BrainQuest champions. BrainQuest not only sharpens scientific knowledge but also boosts confidence and collaboration among participants.

FutureQuest is SciNQuest’s science exhibition, aimed at students in grades VIII to XII who have a knack for research and creativity. This year’s theme, “Our Earth, Our Future,” calls for innovative projects that address environmental challenges and promote sustainability. In this single-round, on-campus exhibition, students present their projects to judges and visitors, showcasing their ideas and gaining valuable feedback. Teams can include up to four students, and exhibits are evaluated for originality, practical relevance, and creativity, with top projects awarded cash prizes.
