School Book Fair Inaugurated by Smt. Rugmini Menon to Celebrate National Library Week

The Mathrubhumi School Book Fair was inaugurated by our esteemed faculty member, Smt. Rugmini Menon, TGT English, known for her dedication to cultivating a love for reading and creative writing among students. Her influence on young minds has been instrumental in sowing the seeds of a lifelong passion for literature and expression.

The special book fair is organized in collaboration with Mathrubhumi Books to mark the celebration of National Library Week from 14-20 November 2024. Various activities are being organised during the celebration.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Hari, our Principal, who emphasized the importance of reading in nurturing a well-rounded and informed generation. He expressed his appreciation for this initiative, which serves as a gateway for students to explore diverse worlds of knowledge and creativity.

The book fair offers an impressive selection of books, covering various genres and age groups, catering to the literary tastes of every student. This event is part of a larger effort to instill the value of reading in students and make quality literature accessible within the school community.

The book fair will run until 14 November, giving students, faculty and parents ample time to explore, engage, and enrich their reading experiences. We invite all to visit the fair, delve into new books, and join in celebrating the joy of reading!
