Educational Tour to OV Vijayan Memorial, Thasrak
Members of the Readers' Club visited OV Vijayan Memorial at Thasrak, the fabled land of Khasak which was the setting for Sri. O V Vijayan's masterpiece "Khasakinte Ithihasam". Mr. Aravindakshan, Manager gave the 44 students an introduction to OV Vijayan's life and his works. It was followed by a documentary on Kahasakhinte Ithihasam. The students enjoyed visit to the art and photogalleries and bought mementoes from the gallery.
After that the the team also visited Mathrbhhmi Mega Book Fair at Indoor Stadium, Palakkad and purchased books for themselves and selected books for the school library.
The students were escored by Mr. Sadananada Yadav, Vice Principal, Mr. Mujib Rahiman, Librarian and Mrs. Regitha, PGT Biology.
The day was an entertaining and educational one.
