      Online Session DIY Origami

      The Readers’ Club and NDLI Club of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode organised an “Online DIY Session on Origami” on 12 July 2023 att 09:00. 

      Mr. T Ravi Kumar, TGT(WE), Kendriya Vidyalaya Tirumalagari took the one and half hour practical session introducing Origami to the students. Mr. Ravi Kkumar is an expert in Origami who had won many awards and recognitions including the National Award for Teachers  and KVS Innovation Award. His Origami works also found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2020-22 for the largest display of Origami peacocks.

      The session was held in the library through Google Meet. 50 students of Readers’ Club attended the programme. The students enjoyed the session and learned to create different types of caps using newspaper. It was a motivating and inspiring session and Mr. Ravi Kumar demonstrated many mathematical concepts during the session making it highly informative. 

      The session ended at 10:30 am with vote of thanks by Anagha Iyer, Class IX
