National Reading Day 2022 - Take the Reading Pledge

India celebrates National Reading Day on 19th June to honour P N Panicker. 

The P N Panicker Foundation and P N Panicker Vigyan Vikas Kendra have been observing the national reading day, reading week and reading month since June 19, 1996. P N Panicker is the founding father of Libraries as well as the Literacy Movement in Kerala.

KV Kanjikode will be organising many activities and competitions for the students in the reading month.

Reading Pledge

Today, on National Reading Day, take the reading pledge.

You must login to the Digital Library portal to get points, certificate and badge for this activity. If you are not logged in, you will be able to get your digital certificate, but no library points will be added to your account.

All students and teachers took the Reading Pledge administered in the morning assembly by the Librarian.
