Reading Month Celebration Closing Ceremony
The Closing Ceremony of the Reading Month was held at the Multipurpose Hall today at 10:00 am. Mrs. Latha Nair, well known author of "Mithra", "Ekarshi", "Swaroopayude kathakal" and other personality development books inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The winners of essay contest for parents and the Best Library Users of the academic session 2017-19 were awarded by the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Latha Nair stressed upon the importance of reading for character building and for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for leading a successful life. Through short stories and anecdotes she urged them to develop a strong foundation during the student life so as to grow in future to their full potential.
After the programme, the Chief Guest visited the Book Fair and interacted with the students.
Mrs. Rugmini Menon, TGT English welcomed the gathering. Mr. Mujib Rahiman, Librarian briefed the gathering about the activities and competitions organised during the reading month.
Mrs. K Rajeswari, Principal addressed the gathering. Mr. M Subramaniam, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks.
Mrs. Rugmini Menon, TGT English and Mrs. Sreepriya Kana, TGT English coordinated the programme.
