Competitions for Students on Vigilance Awareness Week
BEML Ltd, Schedule 'A' Company under Ministry of Defence, Govt. Of India is observing Vigilance Awareness Week – 2025 from 27 th October 2025 to 2 nd November 2025, as per guidelines from Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), which is an apex body for Anti-corruption in India.
The theme for this year is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”
Vigilance is our shared responsibility means that maintaining awareness, alertness and integrity is not just the job of Government or Security forces, but the duty of every citizen to protect society from issues like corruption, crime and dishonesty. This shared duty involves actively reporting suspicious activities, promoting ethical conduct and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within communities and organisations. On this occasion, we request your esteemed institution to collectively participate in the fight against corruption and to raise awareness among students regarding Vigilance as a shared responsibility.

Rules for Speech competition:
➢ Topic: Vigilance: our shared responsibility
➢ Participant shall speak in any one language (English / Malayalam).
➢ The total time for speech will be maximum 3 minutes.
➢ The criteria for evaluation are: subject/relevance of the topic, gesture, delivery / expression
and duration.
➢ The participant will not be allowed to refer or to read any part of the speech from papers,
notes or cards.
➢ Prize winners will be notified in due course.
➢ School should recommend one teacher to the Judging panel and remaining members will be
constituted by BEML representatives.
➢ The decision of the judges will be final.
➢ The prizes will be irrespective of language.
➢ We also request you to encourage students to administer Integrity pledge for citizens as per
Annexure-2 attached herewith on the date of conducting the competition.
➢ Maximum 2 participants should participate from each class.
➢ In case of more number of participants, screening will be conducted internally by School and
shortlisted participants can participate in the final competition.
Rules for Poster making competition:
➢ Topic: Vigilance: our shared responsibility
➢ Participants should use white colour chart paper of A3 size /1/4th of a chart sheet to make the posters. The Chart paper will be provided by the organisers. Bring the colouring materials
➢ Name and class details of participants should be written on the poster.
➢ Posters will be collected and evaluated by BEML team and winners will be announced after evaluation.
Date and time will be informed later. Students are advised to register only once. Multiple registrations by a student will result in disqualification.
