Celebrating Champions of Reading: Outstanding Readers of the Year 2024–25 Honoured!

The Annual Day Celebrations held on 5 April 2025 turned even more special as the Outstanding Reader of the Year 2024–25 Awards were presented by the Librarian Mr. Mujib Rahiman K U,  to students who set remarkable benchmarks in reading and library participation.

Mast. NISHCHAL R of Class 7 D, who secured a phenomenal 608 library points, emerged as the top reader of the academic year.

Mast. Arinjay Dasbhadra VII C followed with 548 points, while Mast. Aman Rahman, VII A stood third with 489 points. 

Each of the winners received a certificate and books worth ₹2000/-, a generous contribution sponsored by our esteemed alumnus Mr. Kiran Ramachandran. We are grateful for his continued support in fostering a love for reading among our students.

In addition to the top readers, three Special Prizes were awarded for exemplary contributions:

Miss. Nehara Praveena Krishna, IX B was recognised for her active involvement in the Readers' Club and for winning the IRO 2025 Reading Decathlon, bringing laurels to the Vidyalaya.

Miss. Riya Rajesh, IX D too earned a Special Prize for her victory in the IRO 2025 Reading Decathlon, showcasing her reading excellence.

Mast. Rohit B, VII C received the Diligent Participant Award for his unwavering dedication to the Weekly Quiz series, maintaining a Quiz Book diligently, and being a consistent presence in all library activities.

These young champions have set inspiring examples for their peers and truly embodied the spirit of enthusiastic reading and learning. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees and look forward to seeing more students rise as reading stars in the coming year!
