Pustakopahar 2025: Sharing Knowledge, Preserving Resources

Dear Students/Parents,

As in previous years, we are delighted to organize Pustakopahar once again—an initiative by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan that encourages students to gift their used textbooks to younger students. This program encourages students to donate their used textbooks to younger students, promoting the habit of sharing and reusing.

By participating in this initiative, students help conserve resources, reduce the demand for new books, and contribute to saving money, paper, and trees. It also fosters a sense of responsibility and sustainability among children.

Students who wish to donate their old textbooks or receive books are requested to register here. Those who are donating the books are requested to bring the books and handover to the librarian. The collected books will be distributed on April 1, 2025, the reopening day of the school.

You can also donate any other items that are useful for other students that you wish to give away.

🔹 Important Note: Only NCERT textbooks in good condition will be accepted. Since textbooks for Classes 4, 5, 7, and 8 are changing, there is no need to donate books for these classes.
