World Mother Language Day 2025 - Celebrated
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode celebrated World Mother Language Day 2025 with a series of special programs aimed at promoting linguistic diversity and cultural heritage. The event was graced by Prof. K Sasikumar, a retired Malayalam professor and renowned writer, as the Chief Guest. Sh. S Harilal, Principal extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest by ceremoniously draping a shawl around them, signifying respect and honor.
A recipient of prestigious awards like the Kerala Sahithya Academy Award, KANFED Award, and Changampuzha Award, Prof. Sasikumar inspired the students with his insightful address on the importance of languages. He emphasized the need for proficiency in one's mother tongue and encouraged students to communicate using a "sweet language."

The morning assembly featured a variety of engaging performances, including:
Speech on the significance of mother languages
Poem recitation showcasing linguistic beauty
Melodious song performances celebrating cultural diversity
The Chief Guest also distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted in connection with World Mother Language Day. Additionally, certificates and gift coupons were awarded to the participants of the H & C All Kerala Quiz competition, recognizing their dedication and excellence.
