World Book Day 2022 - Book Donations to the Library

On the occasion of Book Week Celebrations 2022, the Library received book donations from staff and students. 

Mrs. Usha Malayappan, Retd. PGT Economics has donated INR 7, 500 worth of books to the Vidyalaya Library on the occasion of World Book Day 2022. Mrs. Usha Malayappan is a voracious reader and was an active member of Vidyalaya Library Committee and Readers' Club during her tenure in the Vidyalaya.

Mrs. Rugmini Menon, TGT English donated a special edition of Harry Potter to the school library. Handing over the books to the Principal in the morning assembly she also talked to the students about the Harry Potter series. 

Ms. Praseetha, a former student of the vidyalaya who was an active user of our library also visited the school and donated about 60+ books from her personal collection to the school library.

All the books were handed over to the library in the morning assembly today.
