NIFT invited applications for it’s UG/PG & Ph. D courses starts from 2022. Aspirants students can apply online for NIFT Admission test 2022.

Eligibility for Bachelor Programmes – Design (B.Des) and Technology (B.F.Tech)

To be eligible to apply maximum age of the candidate should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of Admission. (The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe/ Persons With Disability (PWD) categories)

1.Bachelor of Design – B.Des. (Fashion Design / Leather Design / Accessory Design / Textile Design / Knitwear Design / Fashion Communication)

The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi or equivalent

2. Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (B.FTech)

The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent

Note : Candidates who are appearing for their Board examinations in the year of Admission, can also apply, subject to fulfilling necessary eligibility conditions at the time of counselling/admission as mentioned in the Admission Prospectus.

Online Registration for Admission: 3 rd December, 2021

Last date for Online Registration for UG/PG Programme: 17th January, 2022

Last date for online registration with late fee of Rs.5000/- (in addition to the applicable application

fee) AND Window to edit /update the Application Form: From 18th January, 2022 till 22nd January,

2022

Admit Card (Online only) 29th January, 2022

Written Entrance Examination for all UG & PG Programmes: 6th February, 2022

Window to receive observations/objection from the candidate for GAT exam: Candidates are allowed to take away the General Ability Test (GAT: Objective type question Paper). Keys of the GAT will be uploaded on the website so that candidates may give their observation/objection if any, during this period against payment of Rs. 500/- per observation/ objection: 2nd week of February, 2022

Result of Written Entrance Examination: Mid-March, 2022

Situation Test / Group Discussion / Interview: April, 2022

Last date for online registration for foreign nationals/SAARC/NRIs/OCI 30th April, 2022

Declaration of Final Result (Online): May, 2022

Counselling May-June2022 onwards
