Two Day Regional Workshop for Librarians Inaugurated

Mrs. Deepti Nair, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Ernakulam inaugurated the Two Day Regional Workshop for Librarians today in the Vidyalaya library by lighting the lamp . The workshop is being organised for the librarians of the regions on 1st and 2nd November 2019. 35 Librarians from different Kendriya Vidyalayas in the region are attending the workshop.
In her inaugural address, the Chief Guest reiterated the need of hour for the librarians to acquire new skills and play a pivotal role in enhancing the teaching learning environment in the vidyalaya in collaboration with the teachers.

Mr. K Viswanathan, Principal and Associate Course Director welcomed the gathering. Resource Person Mr. S L Faisal, Librarian, KV Pattom introduced the course objectives and gave a brief outline of the course. Mr. Mujib Rahiman, Librarian KV Kanjikde and Resource Person proposed vote of thanks. Mrs. Anitha G, PGT Mathematics and Mrs. Rugmini Menon, TGT English were also present during the inaugural session.
