Heritage Education Workshop for Teachers
Dr. Navina Jafa, who is also the heritage consultant with Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC), Govt. of Delhi, is organizing a heritage education workshop free of charge on behalf of SRDC,
Govt of Delhi. A school can send two teachers (one from social and the other from the natural science stream) for the workshop.
Workshop will cover the Following issues:
i) to create the methodology of organizing a club
ii) to curate a heritage walk
iii) to adopt a monument
iv) to develop heritage activities for one academic year for different classes
v) The last part of the workshop will invite schools who have adopted a monument to individually discuss to develop a range of innovative heritage education activities.

i) Date and time" 16th April 2013 from 9.30 to 12 pm
ii) Venue: Delhi Secretariat, near ITO
iii) No Fee
iv) 2- Teachers per school (it will be preferred that a teacher each from social and natural science stream are designated as Heritage Educators)
