Joy of Reading Photo Contest

 The National Book Trust, India has announced the Joy of Reading Photo Contest, inviting citizens from across the country to capture the spirit and impact of reading during the Pune Book Festival (13–21 December 2025) at Fergusson College Grounds. The contest aims to celebrate how books enrich lives and inspire creativity through photography.

The contest is open to all age groups, with no entry fee, and participants may submit up to four original photos based on the theme “Joy of Reading”. Photos must be taken during the festival and submitted in high-resolution with RAW files. AI-generated or heavily manipulated images will be disqualified.

Prizes

• First Prize: INR 31,000

• Second Prize: INR 21,000

• Third Prize: INR 15,000

• Two Consolation Prizes of INR 10,000 each

How to Submit

Entries must be emailed to director@nbtindia.gov.in and nccl@nbtindia.gov.in by 17 December 2025, along with the completed entry form and a short description of each photo
