NSITE 2016 - School Team bags Two First Prizes in Higher Secondary Category
The following teams who represented KV Kanjikode won First Prize in Higher Secondary category in the NSITE 2016 held at Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre, Pamabadi from 4-5 February 2016.
The teams were:
I. Science Working Model - Higher Secondary Category
Smart Energy Meter
Allen Joe Antony, Sayooj Samuel, Nirupam V and RB Abhijith
II. Science Research - Higher Secondary Category
Effect of Seasonal Winds on Human Health
Sayooj Samuel, Allen Joe Antony, Hisana MR and Nithya NV
The projects by Anna Rose Antony, IX and Akshay, VIII were shortlisted in the High School Category Science Working Models.
26 students from the school participated in the Exhibition with 16 models.
The Vidyalaya also won Nehru Vigyan Scholarship enabling the Vidyalaya to recommend one students for the next academic session who will be provided free education in any of the Engineering streams at Nehru Group of Institutions.
