 Add a New Google Account to Your Android Device

1. Open Android Settings (not Chrome).

2. Scroll to Accounts or Passwords & accounts. (This may differ based on the brand/model of the mobile you are using)

3. Tap Add account > Google. You may find Add Account option at the bottom of the screen.

4. Sign in with the new Google account.

Do not click on Create account, given your complete email id given by the school and then click Next.

Also, if you are adding account from Gmail, select Google and continue and do not select Other in the Set up email option as shown in image below. 

 Step 2: Switch to That Account in Chrome

1. Open Chrome.

2. Tap the 3-dot menu (top right) > Settings.

3. Tap your profile name or email at the top.

4. Now you should see a list of accounts — including the one you just added.

5. Tap the new account to switch to it.

6. Chrome will ask if you want to turn on sync — tap Yes, I’m in if you want bookmarks, history, etc., to sync.
